Dirty Dancing

My Grandad came down from Yorkshire to see me and we got up to all sorts. I was lucky, he bought me a fur coat and some great boots but another treat was going to see Dirty Dancing at the Aldwych theater. Loved the costumes and obviously the dancing,  the pics don't really do it justice (especially the guy who plays Johnny).

royal engagement

After eight years together, Prince William and Kate Middleton are finally engaged! Prince William popped the question on holiday in Kenya last month, but they waited until today to announce it properly with a statement from Clarence House.
They met at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland and have had to put up with constant attention from the press which will not stop now that Kate is marrying the Prince. I can't wait to see what the dress is like, i hope its traditional and has a really long train, the dress will no doubt become really popular so let the race to design the dress begin.

Graham Norton show

My flatmate Jess managed to get some tickets to be in the audience for the Graham Norton show and when she got an e-mail to say that Colin Farrell, Rhianna, Daniel Radcliffe and Rhod Gilbert were on we went crazy excited and started planning outfits for our TV debut. We arrived first so we got to the front of the line but as the next two rainy and cold hours passed the line grew and a second line appeared that was for people who came last time but didn't get in so they had priority which we were not pleased about. The doors opened and we were desperate not just for the show but for heat and a seat. When the priority people got in we literally charged for the door and were giddy when we saw the amazing studio and didn't have bad seats. The warm up the crowd guy was actually really funny and when Graham Norton came on we all cheered, he stood on the stairs right next to us and (because Harry Potter was on) waved a wand to make the audience appear - well that's how it will look on TV. The stars arrived on the couch and seemed genuinely pleased to be there, it was great that they were so comfortable under the spotlight and chatted away as if there were no cameras at all. Colin Farrel who is better looking in real life than in movies was amazing and Rhianna looked beautiful, Daniel Radcliffe arrived later as he had been to the Harry Potter premier - he was pretty small but really nice and cute. At the end of the show Rhianna performed 'only girl in the world' which is now number one, she had about 6 people around her putting her hair in place and changing her shoes for her but when she sang it was amazing. I hope that we get to go again but that it's a bit warmer next time, we all had a fantastic time and i'm looking forward to watching it on BBC 1 tonight.

street style

How cute is this Mulberry bunny bag? easy and practical it adds something special to Graces' simple gray mini dress and edgy leather biker jacket. The colors are great for now and i love Mulberry so i thought it needed to be on my blog.
I love the gem skull as it make the bag stand out, it is Naomi's favorite and it is now my mission to find one just like it. the Thomas Wild creation is not only eye catching but it goes with anything and is big enough for everything you need for a night out.

street style

I love Naomi's clothes, especially her shoe collection because its full of bold prints, block heels and statement platforms (shoes i could never really wear because i'm a flat shoe kind of girl). I have included lots of Naomi's bags and shoes in previous posts but these fab moccasins are my favorites and the lining is very 'aviator' like the jackets seen on the catwalk.
This bag originally belonged to Isobel's nan and she often uses it as the colors fit in perfectly with her love of old fashioned hues like the jacket purchased from brick lane market. It is ideal for carrying essentials yet stylish and makes her outfits a bit different.

Halloween

Great night at a house party and then to Kingston clubs. Everyone was in fancy dress and i look really weird (well more than normal) because i went crazy with red lippy and black eyeshadow that eventually ruined the white dress which you can probably tell was cheap but it was ok for one night. Happy Halloween
